Unless one observed from space or moon itself there was absolutely no chance of moon sighting in entire Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on Wednesday evening. You can bring me any number of witnesses in middle of night that they have seen sun and it is time for Zuhr prayers, I would not believe because we know you cannot see sun in middle of night.Same goes in the case of moon, It was not on our (or Saudi) horizon at all on Wednesday. No human or telescope could have seen it.
I think observatories should be set on higher mountains rather than on skyscrapers of Karachi to resolve the matters once n for all. Every one goes to the roof of his house to sight the moon right...
KPK and FATA people really have great eyesight they even beat telescopes and the MET office!
"Meanwhile, tribesmen from Akka khel area of Bara tehsil in Khyber Agency have decided to observe Eid on Thursday since they had synced the start of Ramazan with Saudi Arabia, and will observe Eid with them."
Not because they have 'synced' it but they had testimonies from witnesses on which basis they observed it.
It's not necessary for the whole Pakistan to observe eid the same day, fata does not lie on the same belt nor the kkp. Every year they are people testifying to the visibility of moon and this is enough of them being MUSLIMS for their testimony to be accepted.
