Terrorist threat: Islamabad airport locked down

All the roads leading to the airport has been sealed off.

ISLAMABAD: Security at the Benazir International Airport in Islamabad has been beefed amid reports of a terrorist threat, Express News reported.

Early Saturday, security at the Islamabad airport was put on high alert after receiving intelligence report of a possible terror attack.

Rangers and army have also been called in and deputed at all entry and exit points, while the airport parking lot has also been vacated. All roads leading to the airport have been sealed off. Security has also been beefed at Chaklala airbase.

Entrance of private vehicles into the airport was also barred.

There was no confirmation provided about the nature of the threat.

i actually think pakistan was better off under ppp...... locking airport down airport,bikes,cellphones...... indeed a failed state ;) no wonder y 35% percent of people living there just wanna leave only to here the president saying ; "why dont they leave....whose stopping them "?? ;)
