“The structure of (white paper) is written. We’ve been overwhelmed with documents and are now simply putting together these documents. It’ll be completed next week,” said PTI MNA Shireen Mazari.
Mazari is heading the committee that is preparing the paper that will expose how some politicians allegedly managed to obtain desired results in their respective constituencies on May 11.
Party leaders on Friday told The Express Tribune that documentary and visual proofs about mismatches in the results will be presented to both the Supreme Court (SC) as well as to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
The preliminary findings of the committee hold presiding officers and returning officers responsible for ignoring those allegedly involved in manipulating elections’ results at various polling stations, they added.
“We have collected some 12,000 election-related complaints from across the country. We’ll submit them to the apex court and to the ECP,” said a member of the committee.
PTI leader Hamid Khan will produce these evidences to the apex court if the court takes the petition seeking probe into the May 11 polls’ rigging. The party is also moving for an early hearing of the petition already filed with the court.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan had filed a petition with the apex court for investigation in the alleged rigging in the general elections. The petition also maintained that government machinery had also been used in ‘carrying out the rigging’.
He was of the view that the ECP, after going through this paper, could announce reelections in several constituencies like NA-122 and NA-125 under the army’s supervision.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan and senior leader Hamid Khan lost their seats to candidates of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz in Lahore in general elections.
Over two dozen polling stations witnessed a 200 per cent voter turnout against the total registered votes, he added.
The role of the caretaker has been pointed in the paper to be released in a press conference by PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
PTI leader Shahzad Waseem was of the view that the team’s major focus remained on the alleged rigging in hundreds of polling stations in interior Sindh including Karachi, and in Lahore.
A chunk of complaints had been received at offices in Karachi and Lahore where several polling stations were not directly under police control, he added.

Please understand that the EC itself was structured on a malafide basis . It delivered what it was designed for. Qadri exposed the facade with precise details but was laughed out by everyone including the SC.
It is not rocket science to still need EU or anyone else to play the good cop bad cop game with us and make a fool of us. More smoke and mirrors ?

I agree with you in entirety when you say be weary of international and foreign elements monitoring, interfering or directing the course of Pakistan's people. The very reason we are a victim of patron-client democracy is due to our "independence" from colonization.
That being said, i reiterate that nothing should be taken as truth. we each as individuals need to decide for ourselves. We need to challenge authority whatever it may be and then come to a conclusion.
I'm amazed to see that me being a nobody 28 year old has read a 90 page report which has so much detail. we can start by fact checking and co relating with our own observations and come to a conclusion.

These people and cases don't matter to me or the average joe. EOBI, NICL, NRO, etc don't mean anything to us because politics is not the game of the average joe by design and purpose.
The report is illustrates that. and the arguments made by media, politicians and judiciary are no where close to the real causes of corruption, fraud and inequality in the 2013 elections

We should expect similar distractions from PTI during the next 5 years since it has failed to perform on its promises and didn't eradicate corruption, terrorism and misgovernance. The 24 member cabinet comprising of 12 full Ministers, 4 Advisors, 5 Special Assistants, 1 Senior Minister and 1 Chief Minister is simply eating away public money. The law allows only 14 and therefore rest of the 11 parasites are surplus! Corruption has not decreased and nor did terrorism. Rather the terrorism has further increased after the Taliban Khan's government has sworn in KPK. Now these people are desperately trying to divert attention of the public from their failure. Hankering after the past is one's inability to enter into the future!

How many times has Pakistan monitored elections elsewhere ? Accepting such EU groups is an insult we should be good enough to rely on our own.

Dear Readers of ET and Citizens of Pakistan,
Has anyone taken the time to read the 90 page and over 30 recommendations made in the EU Election Observers report? It has some insane amount of data about of what happened before, during and after the elections. Im not saying that this report is fact and should be adhered too, but its a good place to start.
It illustrates reasons whether policy, law, accountability, political will and of course corruption had roles to play in the results of the May elections. That being said, if the media or citizens had actually read this report, it is a great basis(white paper) to start with to find ways to ensure the same mistakes are made again.
Do we have any educated, level headed and conscious thinkers left here in Pakistan, or are we all sheep following the latest dogma or narrative? We must once again start thinking.
PS: The latest contempt case on IK and the Judiciary Stance is smoke and mirrors for the DI Khan escape. Both IK and Judiciary are guilty, often you need two guilty parties if you don't want a real result or outcome in a case.

The System itself was responsible in the sense that the EC itself was politicised and biased to begin with Each and every word said by Dr Qadri has come absolutely true right upto the CEC'resignation. Whether it is KPK, Punjab, Baluchistan or Sind any questionable election needs to be investigated in a transparent manner without exception. The role of ROs and DROs , is so revealing. Tribunals have still not given verdict on the cases pending from 2008 Elections ! The people cannot be fooled all the time. For Nawaz/Shahbaz to claim victory within 2 hours of polling time and the U.S Ambasador visiting them is even for the blind to see how the results were rigged in advance to give the designed results.Thumb impressions checking was denied , why ? We also compare with India in everything. Why there is never any dispute in their elections results ? Because the polling is all electronically done but our vested powers deliberately keep the system open to manipulation

The rigging cry is an excuse for PTI to keep its head buried in sand and turn a blind eye towards the gigantic challenges of terrorism, economy, floods control etc. You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.

Once government is installed, cannot be removed unless the term of the government expires.
Petition and cases will take such a long time to deliver the judgement that by then the time of the present government would have been already over.
My sincere advice to Chairman PTI Mr. Imran Khan is that he and his entire team should put all their energy to see things moving ahead in the province where PTI has made the government and make the province as a role model for the people/voters of rest of the provinces, so that next time when elections will be held, voters should vote for PTI and to no one else.
Still PTI has a chance to win the next general election and PTI must prove that it is worth for the people of Pakistan to bring PTI in the National Assembly, Provincial Assemblies and the Senate to make PTI government in Pakistan.

after the elections, Imran khan brand has sunk now. His own profile is suddenly very low, whereas prior to elections, he was something of a celebrity. He's finding it difficult to accept the ground realities and therefore adjusting to the new situation. He wants special treatment for everything. He does not want to attend apc on terrorism. He wants to have e his special meeting with pm and General Kyani. His attitude on cj and election commission is sick. It's that of a spoiled overgrown child. Why does not he focus his energies on sorting KPK situation. He's nothing in national politics. PTI was just a bubble which burst on the election day. It's very difficult to wake up from the dream and illusion he had built around himself. Instead of continuing his waffle, he should be looking at the reasons why pti flopped so badly and how he can do better next time around. For him waiting 5 years seems too hard.
