Mahar stressed the need of strict vigilance over prices of daily commodities, such as milk, poultry, vegetables and grains. Mahar ordered to take legal action those who violate commodity rates.

Agriculture Minister, Sardar Ali Nawaz Khan Mahar directed the Bureau of Supplies and Prices officials to make sure that standard weights and measures equipment were available across the province.


Presiding over a meeting on Thursday, he stressed the need of strict vigilance over prices of daily commodities, such as milk, poultry, vegetables and grains. Mahar ordered to take legal action those who violate commodity rates.

The minister claimed that the Bureau was an important entity of the agriculture department, thus, it should ensure best quality products to the people. He added that officials needed to ensure appropriate supply to the people at reasonable prices, especially during the remaining days of Ramazan.
