Result statistics: College doors open for 99,652 students

Statistics released by the board declared 99,652 students successful out of the 137,968 who sat the exams.

The statistics released by the board’s examination controller declared 99,652 students successful out of the 137,968 who sat the exams. As many as 14,055 (10.17) of the students obtained A-1 grade. Around 18.2% obtained grade A, while 20.21% managed to secure grade B. About 16.49% passed the exam with grade C, while 6.78% managed to scrape D. The controller of exams told The Express Tribune that the marks certificates will be issued to the schools within a 10-day period to keep up with the ongoing admission process at colleges.


Special candidates

The BSEK also announced the results of around 118 special candidates who appeared in annual matriculation examinations part-II  this year and of 101 special candidates who appeared in its part-I. Nida Shams secured the first position by obtaining 88.11%, while Zainab Ali Akbar stood second by scoring 85.88%. The third position was earned by Maryam Ali with 84.82%. These special students belong to the Dewa Academy for the Deaf in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
