They were directed to reserve 2% of the total number of seats for students hailing from FATA.
The Cabinet Division, Standards in Higher Education and National Health Services were also directed to make similar arrangements for institutes in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister issued the directives with the objective of mainstreaming FATA students so that they could help in contributing to tribal areas and serve as agents of change.
The Prime Minister observed that FATA was going through challenging times and that there was a dearth of quality educational institutes in the areas.
"The situation warrants urgent action from all concerned," he asserted.

There is not single university in whole FATA with 7 million population whereas there are 18 universities in Islamabad with 4 million population. There around 20, 13, 10 medical colleges in Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar and none in whole FATA.
The only Cadet College Razmak has also been shifted to Nowshehra by the so called Pashtun Nationalist from Greater Mardan, Swabi and Peshawar.
Naturally for the ease and comfort of kids of the corrupts, sold outs and UK/US agents living in Greater Mardan, Peshawar, Islamabad, Pindi, Lahore and Karachi.
@Abdullah Khan: Can he direct provinces? The dude still lives in the 1990s. After 18th amendment, he has no power over provinces in general and education in particular.

Great. The answer to all our problems is more quota and reserved seats. We have ruined our prospects with this quota system and yet we still press on with it. Way to go nawaz sharif.
