'Guard of honour' to the president will be an important event in the democratic history of Pakistan.

LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaulla has said a `guard of honour’ to the outgoing president will be an important event in the democratic history of Pakistan, when a president will be leaving the office after completing his constitutional term and another democratically elected starting his term.  PML-N did not consider Pervez Musharraf as a constitutional president. Had he been a democratic and constitutional president no one could raise objection on the guard of honour for him,” he said.
