NEW DELHI: Heavy embellishments and ensembles in shades of red and pink have been associated with Indian bridal wear for women since long. Designer Jaspreet Gulati's new fusion wear collection explores bridal wear in more colours with bold and artistic artwork.

Gulati has thrown in colours like ivory, beige, coral, orange, deep tones of blue and grey with special dying effects for his latest bridal collection under his brand Expressionist, said a statement.

The gowns and dresses can be worn as suits too.

The haute line, made with fabrics like net, georgette and silk, consists of structured draped and clean yet comfortable silhouettes.

They portray the complexity of life and deformation of beauty within very profound and highly experimental drapes with intricate detailing and structured three-dimensional art deco embroideries.

The drapes include pleating and architectural pleatings. The surfaces are well treated by bold and artistic artwork.
