A woman was found dead in her house on Tuesday. Police said they suspected that her husband had poisoned her. Satellite Town police said Muhammad Yousaf, a resident of Chachranwali, had married Riffat Bibi 10 years ago.
Her parents said he often beat her up. On Tuesday, they alleged, he poisoned her food. They said some neighbours had found her lying dead in her room in the morning. They said her mouth had been foaming. Police were informed and the body was sent for a post-mortem examination. Police said they were looking for Yousaf.
