Death In Jail: Indian prisoner’s body sent back

The body of an Indian prisoner who died in Karachi jail on July 4, was sent to Mumbai last Thursday, 21 days after his death, according to The Times of India. A special ambulance dispatched by Gujarat Fisheries Department transported the body to his native village, where his wife and four children were distressed by his sudden death as well as delay in repatriating his remains, the report said. The newspaper report stated that 41-year-old Dadubhai, was arrested by Pakistan Coast Guards for trespassing territory and according to a Gujarat Fisheries official, had allegedly died of a heart attack in a Karachi prison.
