Search operation: Security forces arrest 74 suspects

BARA: Security forces arrested 74 suspects during a search operation in Bara, Khyber Agency.

A political administration official said 80 suspects were arrested in Akka Khel area of Bara on Sunday and were released two days later after security forces completed their investigations. On Tuesday, another operation was launched in search of militants and 74 tribesmen were arrested from the Meran Talab and Daro Adda areas.

The suspected tribesmen were shifted to Fort Slop and will be released after an investigation while persons-of interest will remain detained, the official added.
