Cricket: Metropolitan CC reach last-four

An all-round performance by Naveed al Amin propelled Metropolitan CC to a 36-run victory against Late Ismail Jaffer CC in their quarter-final of the first Mehman Ramzan T20 Cricket Tournament.


Batting first, Metropolitan were bundled out for 106 in 19.4 overs, with Naveed scoring 41 off 25. SM Tahami made 22 while Bilal Abbas scored 20. Arsalan Waseem grabbed three wickets while Abu Bakr Ansari and Taha Khan took two wickets apiece.

In reply, Late Ismail Jaffer CC were all out for 72 in 19.5 overs. Hasan Abdullah top-scored with 23 while Arsalan Waseem made 19. Alam Khursheed claimed three wickets while Bilal Abbas and Naveed took two scalps each.
