A man reportedly killed his daughter and her alleged boyfriend after he found them in a room inside his house in Kathar Yanwalla Mohala on Saturday.
A city police official said the father came to the police station following the incident and confessed to his crime. Abdur Rauf Khattak told the city police he woke up to go to the washroom during the night when he saw a light switched on in one of the rooms. When he entered the room, he saw his 15-year-old daughter, Sabina, sitting with an unidentified boy. Seeing this, Khattak got furious and killed them both.
Khattak said he suffocated the boy to death using a pillow and strangled his daughter using a rope. The boy was later identified as Asad Abbas, 20, a resident of Gass Mandi Mohala.
Khattak is currently being held in a lock-up at the city police station and a murder case has been registered against him.

There is no such act as honor killing. Honor Killing is murder. Both act has are disregard to human life. May Allah provide him the same kind of Justice he dealt to his Victims, Ameen.
The girl was just sitting with the boy - right? Why did that violate honour?
It is sick to kill 15 years old girl on the name of honour only !! moreover the girl was young enough to understand ups and downs of life and if the father was that furious he could have punished them in other ways instead of taking their souls out. I am ashamed to be the part of this society as people are really out of their mind here
Was the 15 years old given proper sex-education by her parents before she was found sitting with a boy and was put to death,to 'save honor'?
considering the circumstances and the social stigma involving such an act the father had very little choice. Murder is wrong, 15 year old does not have the understanding of her action but in the end it is the society to blame for this tragic incident, more then the murderer himself.

Tragic. Btw, 20 year old with a 15 year old minor? That's sickening in its own. By making it a taboo, and outlawing even the healthy mingling of the individuals, we have opened the doors for the abuse of children.
If only the father had taken a moment to realize why did his daughter derail like that and try to fix the issue rather than solve it like this.........huhh 3 lives gone to waste and many others affected!
