The Prime Minister in a meeting with US Ambassador Richard Olson, said that Pakistan was committed to all initiatives designed to promote peace and stability in Afghanistan.
Nawaz also shared with Olson the outcome of advisor on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz's recent visit to Kabul.
The meeting also discussed the upcoming visit of US Secretary of State John Kerry, who is likely to visit Pakistan in the next few days.
“The Prime Minister also conveyed to Ambassador Olson that he looked forward to receive Secretary Kerry and in addition to sharing views on the present state of the relationship, also wanted to share a vision of bilateral relations in the future.”
Sources told The Express Tribune that Nawaz also raised the issue of collateral damage by drone strikes, with the hope that the Secretary of State would be able to address Pakistan's concerns.

"Sources told The Express Tribune that Nawaz also raised the issue of collateral damage by drone strikes, with the hope that the Secretary of State would be able to address Pakistan’s concerns." ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ So whats Sartaj Aiziz's role then?
Paksiatn is not a banan republic ++++++++++++++++++++++ Firstly the PM should not be meeting the US Ambassador. And even if he meets it should never make it as news.
Very wise, NS. I can't imagine any other country on earth that is able to project power as effectively as the US does. We have to accept it as a super power. Can India or China invade any country say in South America and meet its objectives like the US has? Only arm-chair strategists think that it wanted to be a force of good when its only aim was to eliminate OBL.
Puppet PM talking to his Master.
