LAHORE:
The third Punjab Assembly session was adjourned on the first day without any business being taken up after the sudden death of PA Senior Secretary Malik Aftab Joiya.
The secretary came to the assembly building at 8am on Thursday morning and died of cardiac arrest around an hour later. Acting Speaker Sher Ali Gorchani arrived in the house at 11.37am and adjourned the session till Friday morning.
