PPP and JUI-F enjoys friendly relations, says JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

ISLAMABAD: In a boost for the otherwise beleaguered Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), it managed to secure support of the Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazal group (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman for its Presidential candidate, Radio Pakistan reported.

Speaking to the media after meeting the Aitzaz Ahsan led PPP delegation in Islamabad on Tuesday night, the JUI-F chief said that the two parties enjoy friendly relations.

Fazl added that the JUI-F would try to support a joint candidate for the presidential election.

Ahsan said that the JUI-F has agreed to the idea of a joint candidate for the presidency. He added that there could be no better candidate for the office of the president than the PPP’s Senator Raza Rabbani.

On the other hand, PPP and MQM also had contact to deliberate on a candidate for the president.

This guy has no principles whatsoever. Even after PPP got wiped in the elections last election for their poor performance, JUI-F still thinks it's a good idea to side with them. Imagine if their votes ever questioned their moves?!
