Poverty: Father of three kills himself

FAISALABAD/ LAHORE: A father of three commited suicide on Sunday by swallowing poison pills after losing his job at a power loom factory which shut three months ago because of prolonged outages.

Police said the 45-year-old resident of Muhammad Ali Park Dallowal had been looking for a job since then, often working on daily wages. On Sunday, he swallowed poison and was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
