Fever watch: 17 new dengue cases reported

KARACHI: There were 17 dengue fever cases reported in the city on Monday, which brings the total number of patients for this year to 466, said the Dengue Surveillance Cell Sindh’s focal person, Dr Shakeel Aamir Malik. The total number of dengue fever cases for the province is 478. Dr Malik said that the fever has claimed four lives this year and 16 patients are still admitted in different hospitals. The 17 fever cases were admitted in different city hospital and six were discharged after receiving treatment.
