Statistics: Crime update

BAHAWALPUR: In Rahim Yar Khan, 108 people were murdered, 115 women were raped, and 241 burglaries took place from January to June. During this time, 761 criminals were arrested. In the 241 burglaries, goods worth Rs37.688 million were reported stolen, and police recovered Rs20.563 million worth of these items. In addition, 108 people were murdered and 96 were injured in murders attempts. Police arrested 481 criminals involved in these crimes. 182 motorcycles and six cars were stolen. The police arrested 199 of the 356 people involved in these crimes. The police also arrested 81 of the 199 people accused of sexual assault.
