Pakistan wants to improve bilateral relations with US based on trade, says minister.

Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that political and economic stability would be pivotal for the sovereignty and dignity of the country.


Ahsan Iqbal said that top priority of the government has to build economic relations with countries of the world for development and prosperity.

He said “We are living in geo-economic world’ where countries maintain their relations on the basis of economic interest and objective.” The minister said that Pakistan wants to improve bilateral relations with United States (US) based on trade.

He said that the government will make business friendly policies to make private sector able to play its role in economic development of the country as the world has now entered new era of globalisation.
