‘By next week’: Standing committees coming soon

(K-P) Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser said the formation of standing committees is in its final stages.

PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser on Friday said the formation of standing committees is in its final stages. Qaiser made the observation while talking to a delegation of Democracy Reporting International (DRI) in the assembly secretariat led by DRI Deputy Country Director Niaz Ahmad and comprising Quraish Khan, Azaz Khan and provincial coordinator Yahya Bakhtiar. K-P Assembly Deputy Speaker Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi and Secretary Assembly Amanullah Khan were also present on the occasion. Qaiser said the formation process of standing committees will be completed by next week. He appreciated the spirit of the delegation in the local government election framework in the province and extended support on behalf of the assembly secretariat.
