Cricket: Misbah claims three in 14-run win

Misbah conceded 22 runs in his four overs to keep the opposition in check.

Off-spinner Misbah Khan claimed three wickets in a low-scoring encounter to bowl Alamgir Gymkhana to a 14-run win over Touchme in their 1st Mehman-e-Ramazan Cricket Tournament here at the KCCA Stadium yesterday.


Defending a modest target of 135, Alamgir Gymkhana restricted Touchme to 121 for eight in 20 overs. Misbah conceded 22 runs in his four overs to keep the opposition in check, while left-arm spinner Faraz Ahmed Khan chipped in with two scalps.

Earlier, Alamgir Gymkhana were bowled out for 134 in 20 overs with Akbarur Rehman top-scoring with 51 including a six and five boundaries while Ramiz Raja Junior made 25.
