Blast outside Peshawar house, no casualties reported

KOHAT: A bomb exploded in a house near Scheme Chowk at Kohat Road, Peshawar, on Wednesday, Express News reported.

According to the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), an improvised explosive device was planted near the main gate of the house. The main gate and the front wall received damages from the blast, however, no casualties were reported.

The initial reports by the police suggested that two assailants on a motorbike threw an improvised explosive device at a house, which resulted in the explosion.

The owner of the house, Ghulam Sadiq, said that he has no animosity with anyone.

Police and rescue team immediately reached the site.

Police has also started a search operation to arrest the assailants.
