ISLAMABAD: New Chinese ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong on Monday said Pakistan and China were good neighbours, close friends, trusted partners and brothers.  He was speaking at a reception hosted by him, which was attended by federal ministers, parliamentarians, ambassadors, representatives of business community and politicians. Sun Weidong said this relationship transcends the changes of time and politics, full of vitality and it is an example of state to state relations. He said Chinese government always gives priority to China-Pakistan relations in its diplomacy and these relations remain cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy. He said Chinese considered Pakistan as ‘Iron Pak’ that means Pakistan is a friend as solid as iron.
