What I am not able to understand is that people here are assuming that there exists a perfect coordination between the provinces and the federation. Due to different parties ruling different provinces, there is always exists a misco-ordination to certain extent. For example, I strongly feel that KPK CM at least should have been there with CM Baluchistan and CM Punjab since PTI is not in a direct political conflict with PML-N (PPP is leading opposition in the centre while leading the house in Sindh). But PTI is quite over the issue so as to did they receive any formal or informal request from PMO regarding visit to China.
"To discuss the terms of the new security policy, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) headquarters"
There you go! The Prime Minister visits the ISI headquarters! That shows who is the boss in Pakistan. Shouldn't it be the other way about- the ISI chiefs summoned to the PM's office?
Can you imagine any country that is not a banana republic where the prime minister "visits" the intelligence headquarters to discuss security policy?
Her visits the place where he was born.
@roadkashehazada and waht about Balochistan and Punjab CMs?
The premier going to ISI HQ? Shouldn't he have just summoned the army chief and DG-ISI to come to the PMO and brief the civilian leadership?
@ali:
hahaa...good joke.
Welcome to the world of Intelligence Mr Prime Minister and Company!!!!
@kumar: And who do you think is really ruling India?
He himself is a security risk.
now we know who really rules pakistan.............
@roadkashehzada: Head of party is not the CM, genius.
Haters... at least he is trying to do something about the whole mess... unlike previous PMs who were only interested in kickbacks and appointing their family members to lucrative posts.
SS what about lahore blast??? Is there any sarbajit singh once again?
@Zubair: I strongly agitate that CM KPK couldnt get in contact with IK to ask permission for attending the same
@Aysha M: "NS trying different set skills to dominate the army, sacking didnt work favourably" +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This time no sacking but retirement if you know what I mean.
@roadkashehzada: IK is not the CM of KPK...lol..Get ur facts right... then make these illogical comments.
NS trying different set skills to dominate the army, sacking didnt work favourably
When r they releasing Musharraf?
And they all discussed how the local SHO was responsible for the OBL fiasco.
this time he is a different nawaz sharif and he wishes to server people of pakistan.
Actually i widhed it. Better co- ordination & mutual understanding will snub the rumors & will yield best result. Understanding indeed all provinces should be part of such co - ordination.
" Terms of New security policy" ??? what happened to the old one.???.
"The premier is accompanied by his advisor Sartaj Aziz, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Shairf and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan." ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Lets hope that ShahBaz Sharif also gets the time to visit Punjab once in a while.
we the people of kpk are looking forward to nawaz sharif that insha allah he will bring peace in kpk and whole country
LOLZ @ali
Well said A-No. 1. May be due to security lapse showbaz was there. Since when ISI comes under the Punjab govt?
When a party having majority in Punjab can put up federal government while party having majority in Sindh cannot then you must not compalin that why federal government is restricted to Punjab only
Jumble of Tenses ++++++++++++++ The PM visited the ISI. Yet during the meeting the Pariamentarians will disucss Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
let nawaz sharif to work for the betterment of pakistan. he is the last hope.
"The Director General ISI in the presence of Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani " ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Did they also discuss the leaked Abboottabad OBL Report? Just Curious.
"The Director General ISI in the presence of Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani " +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ And now the DG ISI doesnt even have a name!:)
The outcome of this discussion would depend on how did he put his message across. Was he conciliatory or did he go into the meeting with condescending attitude.
@A-No.1: coz head of party ruling in KPK is busy mingling with royalty in UK, Head of party ruling sindh is too afraid to step out
Is federal Pakistan limited to Punjab only? Why were the CM's from other provinces not in the party?
