Concerned about the ongoing violence in Lyari, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s coordination committee has condemned the activities of the gangsters. In a statement issued on Friday, the party said Kutchis, Kathiawaris, Memon and other peaceful communities in Lyari need protection.
The ‘terrorists’ belonging to the Peoples Amn Committee are subjecting people to torture while the law enforcement agencies watch silently, the statement added. The committee demanded the governor and chief minister take immediate action.
