LAHORE: The Young Kemcolian Forum, a body representing graduates of King Edward Medical University (KEMU), has urged Vice Chancellor Faisal Masud to revise the university’s policy for the induction of postgraduate trainees. The Kemcolian Forum said that all teaching hospitals in the city had decided to give preference to graduates of their attached medical colleges for postgraduate residency programmes and to turn down applications from graduates of other institutions. They asked the vice chancellor to prefer King Edward Medical University graduates for the postgraduate programmes at the institution’s attached teaching hospital, Mayo Hospital.
