On tip-off: Rangers detain seven suspects

KARACHI: Over half a dozen suspects were arrested during raids in different parts of the city on Wednesday. The Rangers conducted the raids after receiving tip-offs in Memon Goth, Kunwari Colony, Ibne Qasim, Kokan Colony, Jumma Goth and Jamali Goth. The door-to-door search led to the apprehension of seven suspects. According to a Rangers spokesperson, about 28 weapons were seized from suspects’ possession at the time. The suspects were shifted to an undisclosed location for further inquiry and have yet to be handed over to the police.
