Addressing a press conference in Karachi, Afaq urged the British government to take the Imran Farooq investigation to its logical conclusion.
The MQM-H chief also said that the money being looted from Karachi and extradited to London should be investigated.
Afaq added that while his group had the resources to respond to acts of terrorism, he did not want a conflict. He said that the MQM is currently facing a lot of problems, including in-fighting and this will harm the Mohajirs.

So if you are now American why you are involved in such discussions blaming muhajirs for calling muhajirs instead of sindhis. The day a muhajir will become Chief Minister of Sindh and the day when all biased discriminations on ethnic basis will stop, we will be too happy not to call ourselves muhajirs. Why other ethnic groups like pathans, baluchis, memon etc called themselves with their ethnic identity while living in karachi and sindh for last 60 years. You can not compel any person or group for having their own identity, religion, language and culture, it takes centuries to become one identity. So pls relaxed and sweep your own door while sitting in Manhattan.

They never fail to mention Mohjirs, my God, it has been 65 years and when would they stop calling themselves Mohajirs. Why can't they call themselves Sindhis from Pakistan, I am from Mardan and now Pakistani American but my only son who was born here call himself American and he is American from Kansas and his children are Kansans from US. None of them call themselves immigrants or Mohajirs. Even after 65 years these people has not changed and in the next 100 years, they will still be calling themselves Mohajirs. The funny thing is that they immigrated from India to Pakistan and then from Pakistan to US and now they call themselves Americans. Pathetic.
