Balochistan violence: Three killed in Khuzdar

Unidentified assailants opened fire on a passenger bus, killing the driver and two passengers.

QUETTA: At least three people were killed in an attack on a passenger bus in Khuzdar District, some 360 km from Quetta.

According to police, unidentified assailants on a motorcycle opened indiscriminate fire on a passenger bus in Khuzdar’s Kakahair area, killing the driver and two passengers instantly. Police and other law enforcement agencies rushed to the site soon after the incident and cordoned off the area.

Following the incident, transporters staged a sit-in at Sariab Road in protest, demanding the government provide security to transporters and take stern action against the culprits.
