Attack Aftermath: Security increased at Sindh jails

Two locally produced low intensity bombs were hurled inside the jail premises.

KARACHI: Security has been increased at the jails across the province after an attack on the Central Jail, Karachi on Saturday.

Two locally produced low intensity bombs were hurled inside the jail premises.

Although no one was injured or killed the attack caused panic and fear among the administration, law enforcers and inmates.

The assistant jail superintendent, Shahzad Abbas, registered a complaint at the New Town police station while investigation is under way.
