KARACHI: Petrol and diesel consumers are getting less quantity of fuel as the petrol pump owners are manipulating the fuel dispenser nozzle, said Muhammad Ashraf Banglori, president of the Karachi Transport Action Committee. According to him, there is no in-built checking system to save fuel consumers from getting cheated. He said that it was the consumer’s right to receive full quantity of fuel for their payment. He also added that the government is aware of this malpractice but they haven’t taken any action to address it. Banglori requested the chief justice of Pakistan to take notice of the alleged manipulation at petrol pumps.
