KARACHI: Majlis-e-Wehdatul Muslimeen (MWM) has announced three-day mourning for the 14 people killed in the suicide attack at the Madrisa Shaheed Arif Hussain al-Hussaini in Peshawar on Friday. The Deputy Secretary General of the MWM, Allama Amin Shaheedi, condemned the attack and said that the acts of the militants were a failure on part of the government. He blamed the government’s lenient policy for encouraging the terrorists to act freely. He announced the three-day mourning while addressing a rally organised at Numaish Chowrangi. While condemning the assassination of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s MPA Sajid Qureshi and his son in Karachi, Allama Shaheedi said that the terrorists killed the elected legislator in cold blood, accusing the government and law enforcement agencies of failing to protect the people and political activists in the city.
