While trying to escape, suspects opened fire at police, killing Assistant Sub Inspector Amir Rangzeb on the spot.

BUNER: A police official was gunned down by unidentified assailants in Ambela area of Buner district on Friday afternoon.

According to Buner DPO, Jehanzeb Bangash, Nawagai police officials received intelligence information and raided the hideout of some suspects in the remote Ambela mountainous region.

While trying to escape, the suspects opened fire at the police, killing Assistant Sub Inspector Amir Rangzeb on the spot. The suspects then made their escape to the other side of the mountain range.

The DPO further added after the incident a heavy contingent of police along with security forces rushed to the spot and cordoned it off. “They began a search for the suspects in the surrounding area,” he said.

the police man is my uncle but when he kill in the mountain the many hour the are in the mountain but the army and police will not go to the mountain, why police and army not go to mountain to let him back? after many hour we will goto the mountain and let him to go to home. why the police not come eith him and why no body can go to the mountain, why? are they not on the duty? he is kill on the duty but the force cannot come to let him back.
