Timely action: Police seize heroin from bus

A case has been registered against the accused at the Kandhkot police station.

The Kashmore excise police seized heroin worth millions of rupees from a Karachi-bound passenger coach near Dera Morr on Thursday.


According to reports, a team of excise police stopped the vehicle, coming from Peshawar, to perform a routine check.

The team found two kilogrammes of heroin, which subsequently led to the arrest of the alleged carrier, identified as Fazal Dad.

Confirming the incident, Kashmore excise inspector, Shamsuddin Chachar, told The Express Tribune that the heroin was found while going through the belongings of the passenger, Fazal Dad.

A case has been registered against the accused at the Kandhkot police station, he said.
