Dormant explosive: BDS recover inactive hand grenade

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The bomb disposal squad (BDS) on Wednesday recovered an inactive hand grenade from Umar Town in Dera Ismail Khan, said an official of Gomal police station.

According to him, children were playing with the grenade which was lying in an open space. Upon receiving information, policemen along with BDS members reached the site and took custody of the hand grenade. The official added it was of Russian make and already inactive, thus posing no threat.
