QUETTA: The newly elected three-membered Balochistan cabinet took oath on Wednesday during a ceremony held at the Balochistan Assembly in Quetta, Express News reported.

Sanaullah Zehri, Abdul Rahim Ziarat and Nawab Muhammad Khan Shahwani among other cabinet members took oath. Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai administered the oath.

Earlier, a report stated that the provincial coalition government, under the Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, had not named the cabinet. With the finance portfolio unassigned, the chief minister would be presenting the budget on Thursday.

The coalition parties were facing difficulties in deciding who will get the most important portfolios.

However, it was anticipated that following the 18th amendment in the Constitution, there will be less number of ministers in the cabinet and it will be difficult to accommodate a large number of ministers.

A good start for Baluchistan Assembly, after 5 years of loot & plunder by PPP junta. PMLN has shown a big heart in making Dr Malik the Chief Minister. We wish all the success to Baluchistan Assembly.

Congratulations to the Baluchistan Assembly on taking oath.

I would request the Chief Minister of Baluchistan to investigate as who were the culprits who set on fire, detonate bombs on Quaid-e-Azam's residency in Ziarat few days ago and took down Pakistan's Flag and hoisted BLA flag at Ziarat residency.

These culprits must be apprehended by all means and should be brought to justice without any further delay.

This ugly act of terrorism in Baluchistan have hurt the sentiments of whole Pakistani nation.
