Academic success: Chairman BISE announces SSC results

The third position was secured by Muhammad Kalimullah with 967 marks.

BANNU: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Bannu announced its Secondary School Certificate results for 2013 on Sunday.

Among 43,001 who appeared in the examination, 34,136 candidates have passed. Board Chairman Professor Riazullah Khan formally announced the result during a press briefing in his office. He said the overall result of the board remained at 79%. The gazette notification issued from the board stated that in the science group, Maheen Shahab secured first position by obtaining 969 marks, while Irfan stood second with 968 marks. The third position was secured by Muhammad Kalimullah with 967 marks.

First three positions in the arts group were secured by female candidates Nadia Perveen, Asma Noreen and Nazia Shahid, respectively. Parents of the position holders and principals of their schools were also present on the occasion. Khan distributed awards among the high achievers and congratulated them and their parents for their success.
