Balochistan witnessed a day of bloodshed on June 15 as Lashkar-e-Jhangvi massacred 28 people in the long-suffering city of Quetta in an attack that involved bombing inside a women university and exchange of fire at a hospital.
Also on the same day, Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) attacked Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s residence in Ziarat, leaving it in ruins.
The interior minister said the nation is fighting a “kind of war” and that everyone must take part, especially the media.
Nisar also announced a gallantry award for Deputy Commissioner Abdul Mansoor Khan Kakar who died in the Quetta attack.
The interior minister said that the Balochistan-related decisions – to be announced soon – will assure people that the PML-N-led government means business in the province.
Not revealing the plans, Nisar said they will be new and transparent and will be implemented with stakeholders’ consent.

Nisar reiterated government’s resolve to restore the residence to its former glory.
“We want to rebuild the Quaid’s house in three months, however, the engineers will be able to give the exact time-frame for its complete restoration,” he said.
The interior minister also said that he has asked his officers to talk to the provincial governments to make a plan to protect all the national monuments.

You can only react against poor souls reacting due to outage and can do lathi charge, use teargas shells instead of having sympathies with them. You can not say an eye for an eye in this case. They are your supporters, As far as the statement of Akram Shah is concerned he has shocked whole the nation by giving it. To him Ziarat Residency reminds him of British Rules, to whole nation your big and huge palaces, you day to day growing businesses remind us of British Rule and of East India Company. The Prime Minister has acknowledged "missing persons" problem, which has been openly denied by his predecessors in PPP & under dictator Musharraf. There are mainly two ethno-linguistics groups of the Pakistanis 1: Ind-Aryans( Punjabi and Sindhi ) and 2: Eastern Iranians ( Pathan and Baloch ). So if Eastern Iranians embrace the culture of Indo-Aryans which is more inclined towards Indian culture ( Hindus and Sikhs ) we may become an introvert nation with less regards for the outsiders and less hospitable , extremely fragile and cunning attitude towards one another. Moreover more sinister Hindus traditions will creep into our pure Islamic values. But if our Indo-Aryans brother embrace the culture of Pathan and Baloch our only problem to deal with will be gun culture, which can easily be dealt with strict police and other legal systems. Our hearts will become bigger for our fellow Pakistanis, and our horizon and thoughts will be broaden. We will easily accomodate the foreigners and foreign investment. Our female will feel more secure and we may be able to laugh at our short comings even. We will become more forgiving to our Pakistani brothers and will keep Pakistan and Pakistanis above all of other nationalities and interests.
Bring back the death penalty for terrorism as the first step.
I wish you and your party PML-N would have done the same as you want the others to do, we may not have this problem. Musharraf would have taken care of them long time ago, but you and your party were using them for point scoring, never cared for the safety of Pakistanis, never did anything to stop Targeted killings of intellectuals or Doctors of the community. Violence does not bring peace, but separation! The Baluchis and the Pashtuns shake hands with friends with two hands! One to offer friendship, the secon to ecive frienship. Mr Nisar Ali Khan is offering two hands as well one o peace and the other of violence. This is bound for a failure andd follows the American style, let us negotiate but all options are on the table!
This is a threat not a peaceoffer: The minister should seek another post in the forest department. The minister of Interior shoul act rather than speak!

earlier i used to think musharaf did wrong by killing bugti but now i believe he was a terrorist and terrorists of any kind should be punished and these insurgents deserve worst carnage in response!
This can be a point of view for the situation of Baluchistan, that many operations carried out there but failed to achieve objectives envisaged, why? Because they were not carried out in their true letter and spirit. Half measures are not going to bring any result.
God bless Hasan Nasir who once tried to turn arid Baluchistan into lush area but brutally murdered in an ambush somewhere there.

I had a feeling after NS's recent statements that he would like to wipe out the terrorists by force but his hands are tied to some extent. I think that his pre-election statements are just for electioneering. If all political parties support NS, Pakistan can win.

It's too late for Pakistan now . Pakistan is caught in proxy war in which it played its role with U.S in Afghanistan against U.S.S.R. It's easy for Pakistan to take credit for destroying U.S.S.R but it didn't knew then that same war will come back to bite Pakistan . The lure of easy money (dollars) have made Pakistan economic slave of U.S.A . there is a big difference between the BLA and the TTP. the TTP are religious fanatics and terrorists and there is nothing to discuss with them. however the baloch cause is just. give balochistan its rights or let it go.
We support Nisar's strategy of "Violence will be met with violence". One addition is suggested; be proactive and not reactive. Most crucial and war winning part is to be played by our intelligence agencies. We need to attack them before they attack us and that is possible only if our intelligence agencies are provided with latest technology, resources and skills.
