In Senate, the resolution was passed by Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nuzhat Sadiq. Following the decision, the session was adjourned till 4pm Monday evening.
On June 15, a bomb was detonated in the parking lot of Sardar Bahadur Khan University, Quetta, killing 14 female students and injuring as many as 19 other students.
When these victims were shifted to the Bolan Medical Complex, a second blast took place and as many as 14 terrorists stormed the hospital. They killed four FC personnel and the deputy commissioner who responded to the attack.
The outlawed sectarian extremist group, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ), claimed credit for the grisly attacks.

@lalai "Tell me what else can you do??" The most basic thing to do is to recognise why the violence is occurring. The answer has been known for the last 40 years: lack of development. Most of Baluchistan is the same today as it was in 1613. What have politicians done about that ? Here a look at what is possible in Baluchistan: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3wUADXj1Pg
The (in)action of Pakistani politicians reminds one of Nero, practicing his violin while Rome burnt to the ground.
But they were not brave enough to condemn the coldblooded murderers by name. All they had to do was utter the name LeJ. Shame on the lot of them!
what a wonderful job done by passing a resolution in the assembly. Now let's wait for another terrorist attack so that we can pass another condemnation resolution. After all, this is what assemblies are for.... condemnations
a fat lot of good a resolution is going to do. will the express tribune allow me to remind readers that nawaz sharif was a part of the zia ul haq millitary government that gave birth to and nourished lashkar-e-jhangvi? or are we all now obliged to suffer from collective amenesia for the good of democracy?
Tell me what else can you do?? Might then you ask govt for more bullet proof cars and beefed security for yourselves. Thats the type of leadership expected from your lot.
Cosmetics at the best.
@sK Spot on! Heaven knows on which planet our government lives. They never DO anything for the country. All they ever do is pass resolutions. What a complete waste of time and space they are.
Dear Senate, thanks for passing the resolutions after resolutions- all this effort will definitely bring all the dead Pakistanis back
