Unforeseen casualties: Two boys drown in canal

HYDERABAD: Faizan, 16, son of Sallahuddin Ansari, and Shiraz, 22, son of Farooque Ahmed Siddiqui, drowned in Phulleli canal near Noorani Basti area within the remits of Pinjari police station, Hyderabad, on Wednesday morning. The two boys, residents of Ilyas Abad, Churri Muhalla, had gone to take a bath to beat the scorching heat. The bodies have yet to be retrieved.
