Philanthropy: New tubewell installed at LGH

The funds were donated by the Patients Welfare Society.

LAHORE: A new tubewell has been installed at the Lahore General Hospital at the cost of Rs5 million. The funds were donated by the Patients Welfare Society. Post Graduate Medical Institute Principal Anjum Habib Vohra said the funds for the new tubewell had come at the right time. It was needed to cover the shortage of water at the hospital. Vohra said, “There is no dearth of philanthropists in the country. We need to utilise their donations honestly so that donors have the satisfaction that their money was well spent.”
