KOHAT: Five security personnel were severely injured when a pickup truck skidded off the road in Kohat on Monday. A security official said the vehicle was en route to Kohat Cantonment from Lachi tehsil when it skidded off the road near Jarma police station and plunged into a pit, leaving five personnel injured. Security forces surrounded the area and shifted the injured to the Combined Military Hospital. Meanwhile, 23 people were injured, including fresh police recruits, when a passenger van en route to Peshawar from Hangu collided with a police van at Azadi Chowk near Darra Adam Khel, Frontier Region Kohat in the late hours of Sunday. Security forces rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Kohat Divisional Hospital.
