Alternate Solutions: Conflict resolution group initiated

The working group will work out annual work plans and will review all formulated policies.

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Home and Tribal Affairs Department (HTAD) constituted a working group for alternate dispute resolution on Saturday.

A notification to this effect was issued by the HTAD, which stated the working group would comprise of K-P special branch additional inspector general of police, a legal draftsperson from the Peshawar High Court, deputy secretary of the HTAD, provincial office of the Election Commission of Pakistan and the K-P Rural Development Department.

The group will design and devise the alternate dispute resolution project’s framework, as well as take proper action with the aim of enhancing efficiency. The working group will work out annual work plans and will review all formulated policies. The notification added in order to maintain the project’s sustainability, it will ensure the cooperation of respective departments, organisations and other training institutions. The working group will also work towards capacity building and conduct training programmes.
