@Usman786: :D i think u have missed many mubsher luqman's programs
Now the real test lies for Burnol's most valued customers - When is the Tsunami Party expected to unveil its Pearls of Wisdom in KPK?
This is the most balanced Cabinet, truly representative of entire country since PMLN is the only political party having representation in ALL FOUR Provinces of Pakistan.
From BALOCHISTAN: 1. Abdul Qadir Baloch as Federal Minister 2. Sanaullah Zehri as Advisor
From KPK: 1. Sardar M Yousaf as Federal Minister 2. Sartaj Aziz as Advisor 3. Ameer Muqam as Advisor
From SINDH: 1. Pir Sadruddin Rashdi as Federal Minister 2. Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi 3. Abdul Hakim Baloch as Minister of State 4. Tariq Fatemi as Advisor
Even the Minorities have been given representation by elevating Kamran Michael as Minister. While the PTI burgers burn in jealousy, a very large majority of Pakistanis celebrate the landslide victory of PMLN.
@ Aijaz We can only smile at your ignorance!
Why bother calling it Pakistan Muslim League, will be more relavent calling Punjab Muslim League.
@Adnan Siddiqi:
Look who is talking! What about the cabal serving Mush that is now swearing allegiance to Naan League? If ever there was a Star Wars bar of corrupt people, it is lines up salivating for any crumbs at Jati Umra. I can spot many Kling ons, can you?
@Ek Tha Kashmiri:
You sound like a cult follower of the Troll Association of Pakistan. Speaking of crooks, are you aware that Ghulam Sarwar Khan got his B.A. Degree without even appearing for his Matriculates?
@FATA,
Good on you that folks from FATA won on for the first time in PTI's history. But this achievement still does not overshadow a 77 year old CM who has rendered his services for every political party under the sun, got women selected on reserve seats from his own clan, his serious corruption allegations tagged to his name and his unsuccessfully trying to stitch a coalition which includes reps of status quo.
@Xnain: Those "jagirdar" are our problem; we just want end to slavery by "Takht-e-Lahore". Rest we will solve ourselves; we donot need sympathizers from "Mars" to guide us what to do.
Einsteins's theory about madness: to keep doing the same thing but keep expecting different results! This too shall end in tears.
@ Adnan Siddiki. Brother first read Rumormonger's blog and then give your remarks. The person who reportedly hid in some consulate was supposedly Chaudhry Nisar (who is said to have American green card).
@ Ashar. Brother Didn't you notice how many times did Altaf Husain congratulate NS eloquently - on PMLN's winning election then on his becoming party's nominee for PM's slot and then Nawaz Sharif's election as prime minister. AH had glowing tributes for NS after the latter's winning in election. (compare his tributes to NS to his (AH's) remarks about the Sharif brothers before election when he was under the collaborativd umbrella of Asif Zardari. Has anyone in NS camp asked him or his party to vote for NS for premiership? NONE. He is now being very crafty since chaudhry nisar Ali has become Interior minister. AH will now see a lot of difference between Rahman Malik as Interior Minister and now Chaudhry Nisar in this slot.
PMLN has got some of the best minds in the country.
Ahsan Iqbal is a Wharton grad http://whartonmagazine.com/blogs/wharton-alumni-shine-in-pakistan-elections/
Ch Nisar is alumnus of Burn Hall & Aitchison College, where he was Captain of Cricket team.
Khurram Dastagir is Abdalian and topper of University of Engineering & Technology (UET).
Khawaja Asif is lawyer by qualification, banker by profession and politician by passion. Long Live Pakistan!
Bunch of crooks tried and tested and result Disaster!!!!!
@AdnanSiddiue What about those who won from FATA. That too for the first time in the party's history.
PMLN has two MNAs from FATA. I guess Nawaz Shareef hates them. Even PPP gave SAFRON to the tribals. What a shame NS!
@Qaisrani: My dear friend, first go out and weed out jagirdars and makhdooms from your area. Where,"Jaan Rab di thaan vote peer da" is chanted, change cannot come.
@Adnan Siddiqi: Yeah with Jamat and Sherpao, any chance of merit will be,"mitti-pao".
@Xnain,
On the money brother! KPK had the honor of swearing in the first provisional government and it has hitherto failed to even unveil its cabinet. Well, you would have to give the benefit of the doubt to a "Youthful" CM who also tends to forget sometimes the number of parties he has changed. After all, he ain't called "Easy Load Khattak" just for the heck of it ;)
Surprised too see Riaz Pirzada on the list. He is well known to sell jobs of various slots in Govt. don't believe me, check with previous Govt Ministers...
Almost the whole cabinet from punjab and so many kaashmiris?? why and no minority leader
Its a failure of democracy
no wonder ab panch sal bad pata lag jae ga
@Z.Khan: ya lets bring the "new faces". mehmood kasuri or shah mehmood qureshi for instance.... come on guys its their first day after 14 yrs let them work and wish them good luck. at least for 2-3 months.
@Anserali Khan: But Marvi is always elected from Punjab quota. I think most of you missed Mubashir Luqman program showing that how CJ and sharifs are connected
im taking bets on how long this govt lasts..anyone? 3 years? my guess, between 2-3 years before ppl start asking army to come back.
@Syeda Masood: Not a single Hindu minister .
@Qaisrani: You were given last five years and Non Punjabis run all major ministries for the last five years and they almost ruined every department . Why you people were silent when more than 50 percent have less than 20 percent representation and People of Upper Punjab were sidelined. ? Do you think that only non Punjabis are born to rule or what?
@Adnan Siddiqi: There is no point in arguing with them. Just wait for PTI to unveil the provincial cabinet. We will see how much women and minority representations does it have?
We need KPK government to share their priorities and vision clearly with the people of KPK . Also they need to think BIG and outside the BOX, meaning that they are not only responsible for Peshawar, Nowshera, Mardan and FATA only. Mandate has been given to CHANGE the whole province not just ONE of part of the province...... Being said that we request them to pay special attention to Hazara, one of the biggest divisions of KPK .Start with the basics i.e. give us better education facilities, Trained teachers, Hospitals, Infrastructure, Courts & JOBS....Rest can come along....
@Sara Khan:
Its called proportional representation my dear. Since Punjab is a bigger province, obviously the share would be bigger as compared to the rest of the province. PML-N got one seat from Karachi and it has duly rewarded the winning MNA (Abdul Hakeem Baloch) with State Ministership. The rest of the portfolios have been handed over to people from upper, central and southern Punjab, KPK (Sardar Yusuf), Kamran Micheal (Minority), Abdul Qadir Baloch (Balochistan), Pir Sadruddin Rashdi and Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi (Sindh).
Most of judges are mullahs so we will see less hostility towards PMLN Gov. if NS play his card he would be able to complete his five years thanks to NRO.
Awesome team. All the best.
No wonder there are just two women and those too State Ministers. PMLN is a right wing party but should understand that the role of women is changing in Pakistan.
Almost entire cabinet is from Punjab....hmmmm
The provincial+women representation formula has failed in previous term. Mian sahab rightly going with the merit formula. Well done! Haters will hate.
ch Mr.No....... another malik rehman....????
so they have experts and expreinced people/// hahahhahah
Ah, Ahsan Iqbal & Mushahid-ullah.
Declare "Punjab" as "Pakistan. Bifurcate Punjab; Saraikis have enough of Punjabis.
Raja Zafar ul haq is missing from the cabinet...I wonder why
NS for God's sake, return my ministry to me; Ports and Shipping. Thanks, Your Younger Brother, Babur Ghouri
@Rumormonger:
Please refrain from being your namesake. Chaudhry Nissar was sitting in opposition back in 1995 when Ramzi Yousef was apprehended and captured from Islamabad by the agencies under the purview of Benazir Bhutto's government. Also, Ramzi wasn't hiding in some consulate but at a guest house in Islamabad.
Old whine in older bottles.
Ms Marvi Memon and Peer Sabir Shah ( Hazara) shall be given Ministery and Advisory respectively.
@Anserali Khan: Marvi memon did not win even her own seat. So PMLN obviously will accommodate those people who either have a huge experience in the peculiar field or they won their own seats.
Do not expect some concrete form fired cartridges. All is just cosmetic suregery.
best of luck guys.
When it takes this long to announce the cabinet, forget about solving the probems facing the people.
Wish all the best for the new Federal Cabinet.
What is the difference between a state minister and a federal minister?
Wasn't Ch. Nisar involved in handing over Ramzi to US and then it was in the news that he went hiding in some consulate?
Only Two females in the Cabinet.?.There should be greater number of females in key positions.Why not make Marvi Memon a Minister;she is pretty articulate and comes from Sind
Most of them are fired bullets that we have experienced before. However, presumably less interference from the generals may be a deciding factor this time but a new threat in the form of extremely charged judges will have to be tackled by the Sharifs.
Yawn!
just 2 women in the list!
