ISLAMABAD: President Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt granted a special waiver to Asian champion Aamir Atlas to to participate in the WSF World Team Squash Championship 2013.

According to a press release issued late on Thursday, the PSF president awarded Aamir a waiver for attending team trials, for which attendance was compulsory if they wanted to be picked to represent Pakistan at the tournament being held in Mull House, France from June 9-15.

The waiver was explained through Aamir’s recent performances, especially his victory in the recently concluded Asian Individual Squash Championship.

Earlier PSF had organised trials to select a team for the WSF World Team Squash Championship and announced that players missing the trials would not be eligible to be included in the team.
