CHARSADDA: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) district chapter’s ameer Misbahullah on Wednesday said JI will take part in local body elections with full spirit, adding that party activists should start preparing for the polls.

Addressing participants of a party meeting, Misbahullah termed the May 11 polls “one of the worst elections in the country’s history.” He alleged the claims of holding fair elections proved “mere eyewash due to massive rigging.”

Misbahullah said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has to live up to their promise of conducting local body elections in four months, adding JI is willing to extend all support to redress the issues faced by the militancy-hit people of the province.
