Arrests: Armed forces, police conduct joint-search operation

Security forces and the police conducted joint-search operations on the outskirts of DI Khan and arrested several people wanted in sectarian and terrorism cases, according to a DPO staff official.


Nearly a dozen people were arrested in Din Pur and Shah Sarwa on Monday night. The arrested were shifted to an unknown location for interrogation.

These arrests are part of the combined effort of law enforcement and the armed forces to ensure law and order in DI Khan district.

In a separate raid, a Town police station’s team arrested a drug smuggler, Latifullah, from Zafarabad Colony and recovered one kilogramme of heroin. The culprit is now behind bars, according to a Town police official.
