
The Khyber Medical University (KMU) on Saturday announced results of BDS third professional annual examination, 2012 with a pass percentage of 89.
Students of the Khyber College of Dentistry, Saulat Jehan, Sara Ali and Seema Abid secured first, second and third positions by obtaining 493, 489 and 486 marks respectively, out of the total 600 marks, said a press release issued here by the KMU.
In all, 122 candidates appeared in the examination, out of whom, 109 students passed the exam.
The Khyber College of Dentistry, a component institute of the KMU, remained on the top in terms of results, as out of 78 students, 73 students of the college managed to get through the exam, with a pass percentage of 93.
The pass percentage of the Ayub Medical College Dental Section, remained second (with a pass percentage of 82), as out of 44 candidates, 36 cleared the exam.
