Tribal wars: Man gunned down over clan dispute

The incident took place while he was on his way back to Jalal Lund village.

SUKKUR: Shabaan Lund was gunned down by armed men over an old enmity near Mirpur Mathelo in Ghotki on Saturday.

The incident took place while he was on his way back to Jalal Lund village. When he reached Deh Sucharo-I within the limits of Dad Leghari, he was captured and killed on the spot.

He was shifted to Civil Hospital, Mirpur Mathelo, for an autopsy. The police have reported that the murder happened because of an ongoing dispute between the Shar and Lund clansmen. The police have yet to register a case.
